With their sticky-sweet-spicy sauce, Asian Zing Wings are so addicting. You might be able to walk into a restaurant and buy Asian Zing Buffalo Wild Wings there, but I love making them at home. They really are SO easy to make.
All you have to do is place fresh or frozen wings in your slow cooker, toss them with seasonings, then cook them until perfectly tender. Then, it’s time to toss the wings in a generous amount of homemade Asian Zing Wing sauce and bake them briefly, just until they’re crispy on the outside and fall-apart tender inside.
I love to brush them with more sauce when they’re fresh out of the oven, then serve them piping hot with a cool dipping sauce like this buttermilk ranch. They’re gone in minutes!

While I have no inside knowledge of the Buffalo Wild Wings recipe, this is what we have come up with to get the same amazing sticky, sweet flavor on wings at home!

Recipe Step by Step

Add the chili powder, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to a small bowl and mix it together.
Add the chicken wings to your Crock Pot and sprinkle the seasoning mix over the top. Toss to coat the wings with seasoning.
Cover and cook until the chicken is completely cooked through and tender.
Transfer the wings to a bowl, removing as much liquid as possible. Pour the sauce over the top and toss to coat the wings.
Place the wings on a baking sheet and brush with more sauce.

- Don’t overcook – If you cook your wings for longer in the Crock Pot, they’ll become too delicate to handle and will fall apart when saucing them.
- Keep the wings warm in your slow cooker – Discard the liquid from your Crockpot, then clean and dry it. Add the finished wings back into the Crock Pot and set to warm. They’ll stay hot for whenever people are ready to eat!

Asian Zing Wings
Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
- 4 pounds chicken wings, fresh or frozen
For the Asian Zing Sauce
- ½ cup honey
- ¼ cup Sriracha sauce
- ¼ cup ketchup
- 1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
- In a small bowl, combine the chili powder, salt, paprika, garlic powder, and black pepper. Mix.
- Place the chicken wings in the crockpot and sprinkle with the seasoning mix, stirring to get the wings coated evenly on all sides.
- Place the lid on, and cook on high for 3-4 hours, or low for 5-6 hours.
- Once done, preheat the oven to 425˚F, remove the wings from the crockpot and place in a large bowl.Tip: The drier the wings are the better the sauce will stick, so try to remove as much of the liquid as possible when transferring them into the bowl.
- Whisk together the sriracha sauce, ketchup, honey, rice wine vinegar, soy sauce, and garlic powder, then pour them over the wings and toss them to coat.
- Lay the wings on a baking sheet. Brush with more sauce and cook in the oven on the top rack for 15-18 minutes. Then, brush with remaining sauce from the bowl you mixed the wings in and serve hot.
